Welcome to God’s Littlest Angels

Thank you for visiting the God’s Littlest Angels Blog site.    A quick “tour” of the site to help you find the information that you want and connect with the needs of the children in Haiti.  On the top of each page, you’ll see a list of tabs.   Those tabs will help you navigate from one part of our site to another.

There are 6 main blog pages:

And Life Goes On – here is where Dixie Bickel, the orphanage director, writes about what is happening in Haiti, new kids at GLA, the status of adoptions, the progress on Ft. Jacques and the challenges of life in Haiti.

KidzKorner Molly Little, the Toddler House manager, shares her  thoughts and stories about the kids at The Toddler House.

Notes From the NICU The stories of our really little ones in the NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit at the main house.   Most of these will be written by either Dixie Bickel, RN or Susan Westwood, RN.

TattleTales from GLA – Holli Bickel, along with an occasional guest blogger, will be sharing stories about the children at the orphanage and volunteer activities.

GLA News – This page will have a listing of the most recent posts about things that are happening.  Prayer requests, specific news about Ft. Jacques, emergency needs, supply lists – anything of that sort will show up here.   If it is something that Dixie wrote, it will also show up on her page at AndLifeGoesOn.

Tom’s Thoughts  –  Haiti has been described as the “land of unlimited impossibilities.”   Making a difference in Haiti is challenging to say the least.   In addition to that, orphan care and adoption are definitely challenging and thought provoking.   This is the page where Tom Vanderwell is going to wrestle with those thoughts, ideas and the information that is available.   A lot of it will be “related” to what GLA is doing but the information on that page won’t necessarily be directly about GLA.  This information will hopefully help us all to “think” more deeply and care more successfully.

The listing below is the most recent posts from the first four categories listed above.     Thanks again for visiting and be in touch any time you have questions.
