We need space!
This is the architect’s vision of what the new baby orphanage and office space will look like when it is completed. This is the view from the back of the orphanage. The taller section on the left will be kitchen, dining room, reception area, office space, pharmacy, isolation rooms, and on the third floor is a large play area. The lowest level will be laundry and staff quarters. Every two rooms will share a balcony, so the babies can all go outside in the fresh air. One hundred babies can be housed in the orphanage section. Of course, the Haitian version will be painted bright Caribbean colors!
We want to thank the whole Engineering Ministries International (EMI) team for all of their hard word in designing the buildings, water and sewer systems, power system, and site plan. We especially thank Shane Fletcher for this beautiful drawing of what the orphanage will look like when it is finished. He took a photo of the actual land and inserted his drawing into it. We think it looks fantastic!
