oh praying for sweet Sebastian! SOOOO happy to see him with cast below his knee’s and the not so distant hope of walking, running, and freedom like the other kids he has had to watch for so long now. He is truly in our prayers and will look forward to our next visit to GLA and seeing him “cast free” and ready to play with the other kids. Blessings ! -Rori

Oh how I wish I could simply remove Sebastian’s pain…physical and emotional…but he is very strong and will continue to thrive…thanks to all you at GLA! I will be praying for healing and a quick return to being able to bear weight on his feet.

Miss Dixie, We have never met, but God has really laid the people of Haiti on my heart and has led me to your blog. I pray so often for you and everyone at GLA. My heart has been heavy in the last few days after hearing how the laws have been moving. Just read Psalm 118, Exodus 15:2, and John 16:33 in my devotions this morning. Praising God and trusting He holds those precious little ones in the palm of His hand.

Thanks for posting this and what you posted on Saturday.

I too am concerned about what is happening and what could happen to Haiti’s children and am praying hard that God’s best will be done by the government.

With that in mind I have started a new blog called PRAYING 4 THE CHILDREN OF HAITI (www.praying4childrenofhaiti.wordpress.com)

My mission for this blog is for it to be a one stop place where prayer warriors can go to get prayer requests from organizations like GLA .

I will be posting any requests you post via the blogs and am open to posting any other requests you might want to send me off blog!

Thanks for your continued work on behalf of the kids at GLA and all the kids of Haiti!

Thanks, Tom. In a time where I am completely losing hope for myself, and also questioning how God can possibly let all these children (and not just the ones in Haiti – in all the world!) be left to a life in the streets, as a slave, starving with their families, or in an institution, this was much needed. It appears that I will not be able to adopt, but I keep praying that these children will not be forgotten by Him.

I was reading and praying about Haiti last night and this morning, with a heavy heart as well. Then I was working on my Bible study for this week and was reminded of some verses in Exodus 14: 13, 14. “Do not be afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. . . The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” Praying these verses for the precious little ones in Haiti.

Hi Tom~
Wow! This was a blessing to my husband and I! We have our dossier just about done in translation, ready to send to our agency who will be sending it down to GLA in the next few weeks! We are adopting a sibling group from GLA and live only about 3 hours from the Hartzell family in Oregon! We definitely want to meet them. Of course, as the tears streamed down our faces at this touching video, we scanned all the sweet faces on the screen wondering if any of them are our future kids. We can’t wait, and are praying for the adoption laws in Haiti to be favorable for the kids and for GLA. Also, we continue to pray for the rest of our funding to come in as we need to be ready to send a big chunk with our dossier. God is faithful!

Praying for Frantina. What a lovely girl she is. Frantina touched our hearts when we were at GLA last April. Particularly my teenage son really connected with her. Also, praying for BoBo and all the other children at GLA.

God IS moving and HAS opened the door (to a room that has long been in my heart) to the Haitian people and GLA in my life. And I talked with my husband and told him,”I would like to take one step at a time and go through this door.” That was two months ago!! Thank you for your blog! What great encouragement:-)
