Feel Empty?
I’ve mentioned before that I am privileged to talk to so many of you and I know that many of you are feeling “empty” and feeling that you should be doing something more but you aren’t sure what. We had a sermon in our church this past Sunday about the Parable of the Good Samaritan. I was hoping that the minister would spend some time talking about “who is my neighbor” but he took the focus of the sermon in another direction.
As we continue to wrestle with tough issues – how to care for the kids, how to make sure that we have adequate medical supplies, how to make sure that GLA has adequate funding so that we can carry out our mission of caring for the children in Haiti, I remain amazed at what the church does and is continuing to do to make a difference.
An adoptive mom sent me a link to a video that I’ve posted below. I think it says it very well. Please take a few minutes and watch.

Thank you!!!!! We are knee deep in home study paperwork, dossier info, worrying about Hague ratification, etc. It’s awesome to be reminded why we are doing all this
