A New Way

Posted by TomVanderwell

According to what I found online (and we all know that EVERYTHING on the web is true), the greeting card industry does in excess of $7 billion worth of sales annually.    That’s a lot of money spent on birthday cards, anniversary cards and such.

I’m excited to roll out a new project that we’ve set up that will accomplish a couple of things:

  • It will support the kids at GLA and help us provide for their well being while they wait for their forever family.
  • It will help more people hear about the children at GLA and what we’re doing for the kids.

What am I talking about?  Go to http://godslittlestangelsstore.com/ and you’ll see what we’re doing.   We have set up a GLA online store.   At this point, the inventory that is for sale consists of:

  • Birthday cards designed and drawn by some of the kids at the Toddler House.
  • Thank you cards designed and drawn by some of the kids at the Toddler House.
  • Bookmarks also designed and drawn by the kids at the Toddler House
  • The remaining GLA Calendars that we still have for sale.

So, ask yourself – do you know anyone having a birthday in the next 12 months?

Do you?

Well, rather than sending $3.95 to Hallmark by purchasing a card from the big box store nearby, why don’t you plan ahead and make the “suggested donation” and we’ll send them to you.

Don’t you think your loved ones would rather get a card that not only wishes them a Happy Birthday but also helps a child in need?   I know I would.

Go to http://godslittlestangelsstore.com/ and check them out and place an order.

I’ll have more later today about how this came to be, the neat story of how God can use people at any age and some of the additional things we plan on doing with that part of the site.

Let’s give Molly and Joyce the chance to tell the artists http://godslittlestangelsstore.com/the-artists that their cards are so popular that they are making a big difference for the orphanage!

Thanks and happy shopping!

Tom
