Update on Frantina – from Dixie
Note from Tom – Please be in prayer for Dixie, Frantina, Patrick and Vivianne that all will go well and we’ll be able to get a clear and positive report from the doctors.
Dixie posted these (and the pictures) on Facebook earlier today.
5 AM and we are ready to leave for Santo Domingo with Frantina. Please keep us all in your prayers. Didn’t get the travel papers from Haitian Social Services until 6 PM last night! Hoping the trip goes well. Expect to be there about 3 or 4 PM depending on how long it takes at the border crossing. We are praying for an optimistic report from the doctors there.
Leaving Haiti with Frantina. Only time she cried was when sitting in the car seat! Good trip over. Took about 8 hours. Border crossing was 2 1/2 hours. Had to wait for them to open. Everyone taking a rest now. First appointment with neurosurgeon tomorrow morning at 9 AM.
