A Question for the Readers….

I got an e-mail from one of our supporters who is avidly out raising money and supplies to help out and she said that about a week ago, she had gone on the blog and used the “chip in” widget on the side of the blog to make a financial donation and had trouble with the link working.   She said it took 3 “tries” to get the link working.

So, I want to know…..

Is anyone else having problems with the “chip in” link working? 

I’m not going to suggest that everyone try it and make another donation to see if it works, but we could certainly put the money to good use and would love to know whether the chip in is working okay.

Just leave a comment on this post letting me know whether it’s got some technical issues or whether it’s working fine.

  1. Yes the widget did not work for me either. I have donated three seperate times and it did not work right away. I actually went to the main donation site and used it instead.

  2. I tried making a donation about a month ago, and had problems as well. I also went to the main donation site to make the donation.

  3. We have had the same trouble with the link. The last February 21st we did a fundraiser (near Barcelona, Spain) and get money to send to you. We spent almost a week to be successful with the “chip in”. First of all, we thought it was to much money to be send it in only one “chip in” because it was a message saying that was to much for our credit card. But after different times triying(one week later) we could send it, without knowing the reason and having changed anything. (Sorry. My english is not very good. I hope you understen me).

  4. I know that our donations are needed and will be used to help the kids in Haiti regardless of how we get it there. Tom if there is a particular site that you want us to use please advise.

  5. I tried the “chip-in” with no luck last month. I just went back to the main donate like I have done before.
