Prayer Request – The Prime Minister of Canada
It was just brought to my attention that the Prime Minister of Canada will be traveling to Haiti tomorrow. I don’t know any details of his visit, but I ask that you join me in prayer for his visit.
Pray that:
- The trip will go safely.
- That he will meet with the “right” people to accurately assess the damage and the recovery efforts.
- That his visit might open the minds and hearts of the officials at UNICEF to start utilizing the reputable orphanages to care for displaced children wherever possible.
- That he might be able to meet with some orphanage directors to have open and honest discussions about how the orphanages are ready, willing and able to not only care for the children well, but also provide the resources to help reunite birth families wherever possible.
- That his trip will provide added exposure throughout the world to the ongoing needs in Haiti.

I found your blog through the Livesays, and have been reading and praying for you guys and for Haiti every day. Just wanted to encourage you that you’re not forgotten.
