SUBJECT: Teleconference with USCIS International Operations Division and other government agencies to discuss Haitian adoptions.
The USCIS Office of Public Engagement and the USCIS International Operations Division, in partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of State (DOS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), will be hosting a national conference call with Adoption Service Providers and Prospective Adoptive Parents to provide updates and information on the Haiti adoption process as well as discuss the next steps for paroled Haitian orphans.
We recognize that some people on this list may have already successfully been united with their adoptive or prospective adoptive children, but they may nonetheless find some of the information on the call helpful, in particular, information on regularizing the immigration status of paroled orphans
We will open the call for general questions regarding the process. Parents or prospective adoptive parents who have case-specific questions may contact us through our e-mail box at Haitianadoptions@dhs.gov
